The Business Awareness Program provides tools to look below the surface of facts and to plan beyond the horizon when making business strategies.
The central tool to do so is the unicist reflection methodology which, using an “action-reflection-action” process, helps participants to find and understand the drivers underlying a given reality.

The Business Awareness Program sustains the development of the abilities to discover:

Business Awareness is a real case driven program. The real case carried out during the program is agreed between the participant and his/her counselor.

The unicist approach to complex problems
The most primitive complex problem is given by two elements that have a biunivocal relation (loop). For example:
• The lack of credibility of an innovation inhibits its use and the absence of use impedes credibility.
• The absence of production causes inappropriate distribution and dysfunctional distribution causes a lack in productivity.
Until the appearance of the solution given by the unicist approach, there were four palliatives:
• Intuition
• More or less subjective arbitrary models
• Fallacies to avoid the perception of complexity
• Ceteris paribus
Complexity is self-evident in the field of social, institutional and individual evolution. It can be said that evolution is a complex problem itself.
Complexity is implicit in the core of the business world. Those who can apprehend it and influence the environment are successful. Those who cannot influence complexity, fail. The unicist approach is necessary for those who need to manage complex problem to transform them into simple solutions, easy to be implemented. |

Counselors are responsible for guiding the reflection process into concrete measurable results.
The program includes the development of actual diagnoses monitored with the BEES (Blue Eagle Expert System).
Participants use counseling sessions to clarify the validity of their knowledge and conclusions.
The central aspect of the program is to provide tools to detect and manage opportunities. It includes an approach to be able to control the threats implicit in the opportunities.
The reflection process is driven to develop the ability to see beyond and below facts, to be able to find the underlying trends. |
