This individual program is specifically oriented to provide tools for decision making in uncertain conditions.
This program provides tools, including the use of the Blue Eagle X-pert System, to define the concepts involved in the decision making process.
It includes tools to approach the following decision levels:
1) Controlled environments
2) Risky environments
3) Uncertain environments
4) Indecisive environments
The unicist approach to complex problems The most primitive complex problem is given by two elements that have a biunivocal relation (loop). For example:
• The lack of credibility of an innovation inhibits its use and the absence of use impedes credibility.
• The absence of production causes inappropriate distribution and dysfunctional distribution causes a lack in productivity.
Until the appearance of the solution given by the unicist approach, there were four palliatives:
• Intuition
• More or less subjective arbitrary models
• Fallacies to avoid the perception of complexity
• Ceteris paribus
Complexity is self-evident in the field of social, institutional and individual evolution. It can be said that evolution is a complex problem itself.
Complexity is implicit in the core of the business world. Those who can apprehend it and influence the environment are successful. Those who cannot influence complexity, fail. The unicist approach is necessary for those who need to manage complex problem to transform them into simple solutions, easy to be implemented.
It also includes a methodology to define the probability of success when knowledge is insufficient to transform uncertain conditions into a controllable situation.
This program has been developed to be applied in the participant’s own business within the fields where he/she has previous experience.
It includes the use of the unicist reflection methodology to define the scope of possibilities included in the decision making process.
Counselors mainly guide the reflection process to define the possibilities and the decision feedback.
The actual decision making process is agreed between the participant and his counselor.
Business implies uncertainty. Uncertain conditions open the field for business opportunities. But if uncertain conditions cannot be transformed into a controlled situation, business is not possible.
This program provides tools to face uncertainty and transform it into a controlled situation. Participants use unicist tools in the field of their activity where uncertainty prevails. The program includes the transformation of such actual uncertainties into opportunities with controlled risk.
